August 26, 2008A Confusingly Good Rejection
August 15, 2008I just got a rejection from Leading Edge Magazine littered with ramblings about how wonderful the story was, but that I needed to revise it according to their suggestions. However I got the typical form letter (I’ve submitted before). Do they want me to revise and resubmit? Because I know it isn’t their custom to ramble on about how wonderful something is unless they mean it, because I got a less-than-glowing rejection from them before.

August 10, 2008I am just starting this blog and I don’t have much to say.
I will post my random thoughts as they come to me. I might start out by telling you some old news. My story “The City on the Rock” is contracted for publication in Mindflights for early September, for which I received the princely sum of $16. If I publish something there again I might go for the T-shirt, or the coffee cup. I also heard a rumor it might be illustrated, which doubles the coolness level.
