Just got this from Small-Press-Editor-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.
“What on earth are you doing sending your work to a small press publication like mine? I’m honored, and seriously hope you continue to send me stuff… but you should be sending this stuff to F&SF, Strange Horizons and the other big name publications that pay 5 cents a word and can pay you what it’s worth.”

The story to be published is called the “Script of Sages” and it will be published serially each Friday, starting in February, every other week. It’s my favorite story I’ve ever written and I hope you will enjoy it too. I’ll let you know when it comes out.
This is a very important story to me, which just got accepted. More on this later.
Normally I’d be jumping with joy, but I’ve been so overrun with the stress of college and building a social life that it’s been hard to concentrate on my writing. In other words, I’m not as ecstatic as I should be due to various factors hanging over my head like the sword of Damocles.
Anyway, woo hoo!
